i feel it is appropriate for a statement!
all of my gowns are meticulously hand sewn.
supplies include upholstery needles (because they are the only ones big/sharp enough to handle heavy cottons) & quilting thread (it is much stronger). i don't use patterns&don't plan on using them.
most of these dresses have taken months to sew.
this is the only creative outlet that i feel passion for.
next step?
figuratively speaking, i am going out for a smoke.
next "step", is to hope & pray for a chance to have my clothes walk the runway at the annual stitch craft bazaar in austin, texas and mooch some exposure. then design some more studs for folks.
